Yes, massages are luxurious, taking a vacation is exciting and eating more greens are all great examples, but what about taking the time to stretch and move your body? Razz wants to help you succeed in the practice of more self-care this summer especially when it comes to strengthening your practice. Yoga is a great place to start along with other simple acts of self-care like drinking more water, going to the beach, reading a book, taking a nap or playing an instrument. The options are limitless. If you don’t know where to start with your yourself care remedies, try by taking a weekly yoga class at Razz. Yoga is one of the best practices to integrate within your weekly routines and an amazing act of self-care. We all know summer is a busy time of year however, keeping up your practice is critical to your overall health. That’s why we have created the “Summer Self Care Challenge”. Schedule your time to stretch, breathe and relax with your fellow yogis all summer long. The Summer Self-Care Challenge supports your daily acts of self-care through your yoga practice + more! The challenge is simple, fun and a great way to win some really awesome prizes like a free month of yoga! Feel free to join the challenge at any point during the summer and see how far you can go. Simply begin by using the sheet provided below to keep track of your progress. Then, decide how many times a week you would like to practice yoga over the summer. Next, choose one other personal challenge (on or off your mat) that you would like to work on each week alongside your yoga practice. For example, your goal for each week could be to take two yoga classes a week in addition to meditating 5 days a week at home. Another example could be taking a different yoga class Monday-Friday and cutting out fast food. Whatever you choose, there is no right or wrong practice. As long as your self-care routine makes you feel great physically and mentally you’re on the right track. As you complete each of your acts of self-care give yourself a sticker every week until you reach your final goal. At the end of the summer Razz will hold a raffle drawing for all of the participants. The more stickers you have on your challenge sheet, the more entries you will get in the raffle.
